Direct forming of powder results in scattering and uneven filling density. To prevent this, the material is general granulated before forming.
The figure on the right shows the flow of a typical pelletizing/moisture-conditioning/ mixing plant.
We use our own pelletizing mixer (Ryu-O) as the main pelletizer.

In this system, sharp and fine granules can be obtained with a grain size distribution between a hundred microns and ten millimeters by changing operating conditions such as the peripheral velocity of the pelletzing mixer, the shape of blades and binder. |
